Transgender young woman killed by gunshot in Texas
HOUSTON, TX.- A young transgender woman was murdered in Houston in a criminal case that has caused consternation in the local LGBTQ community.

On Tuesday, the Houston Police Department (HPD) has released a video about the suspect killer, who was seen running away from the area dressed in a black sweater and white sports pants over the Westheimer and Fondren streets.
The victim has been identified as Iris Santos, 22, a transgender woman, who was assassinated when she was seated dining on a bench outside a Chick-fil-A restaurant located on 8600 block in Westheimer street.

According to police reports, Iris was murdered last 23 April around 9:30 p.m. by a man that approaches and starts shooting her.
Iris was transported to a local hospital where, minutes later, passed away
