Sicarios Attack State Police Helicopter

CABORCA, SONORA, MX – State police officers have a property under siege outside Caborca, where moments before there was crossfire between armed criminal groups and authorities.

During the attack, criminals shot at a State Police helicopter without success. Nor the craft or any agents were harmed.

So far State Police reports that there are arrests and the seizure of firearms and several vehicles, some of them equipped with armor.

State authorities and the Mexican Army continue with the siege and operatives in the area to mitigate the violence and shootings that have registered in recent weeks in the North area of Sonora.
