Pastor’s Home Completely Incinerated

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – A fire incinerated a house located in the neighborhood Los Encinos; the cause of the fire has not been established by the authorities.

The incident was reported at 6:59 am on October 11, when local police officers were asked to go to Francisco R. Manzo Street, in the Encinos neighborhood.

When the agents arrived, they interviewed 37-year-old Ruben Amaya, who said that he was asleep when he began to feel very warm, he woke up to see the fire fully grown and consuming the wall.

At that moment he said that he got up quickly and left the house, and in a very short time, the house was completely incinerated.

He mentioned that the home belongs to Pastor John Ponce, from the “La Viña del Norte” Ministry Church, who lent him the house. He stated that he did not know what caused the fire.
