Military Operation Leads to 4 Gunmen Arrested

IMURIS, SONORA, MX – Today state authorities, and the Mexican Army captured four armed people in the Ejido Los Janos as part of the operatives in the North region of the state.

Antonio N, Luis N, Jose N, and Humberto N of 22, 21, 19, and 30 years of age respectively are the detained.

The arrest was made after personnel from the Mexican Army requested the support of the Public Safety State Police (PESP). They had four armed people located inside a property located near Ejido Los Janos, in the municipality of Imuris.

At 3:30 pm, the state agents arrived at the site, and together with the military force, arrested the four alleged criminals while securing a Ford F250 truck.

In the area they found two AK-47 rifles and one R-15 rifle, in addition, 15 magazines and more than 380 cartridges of different calibers.
