Working People are the Main Asset of the Maquiladora Industries
MEXICO CITY – Mexican national authorities called on the country’s maquiladora industries and local authorities to prevent labor discrimination.
According to a press release by the Federal Health Secretary, the request to the industry was to comply with sanitary and social distancing measures established by the General Health Council and the Health Secretary. Actions implemented to face the emergency caused by COVID-19, including the suspension of non-essential production work until May 30 of this year.
Remember that work centers must incorporate and implement the recommendations issued by the competent authorities to achieve greater effectiveness and collectively contribute to the mitigation of emergencies and health contingencies.
