Woman Identifies Her Husband’s Killer on TV
YUMA, ARIZONA, US – A woman that months ago was stabbed and left for dead while her husband was murdered, sees one of the perpetrators on TV. The perpetrator was identified with an alias of ‘El Conejo’.
The case occurred in San Luis Rio Colorado, but the victim lives in Yuma, Arizona.
The victim called in the authorities to denounce him. Thanks to her report, the individual is now being prosecuted for the crime.
The suspects are Francisco Martin N, alias ‘El Paco’ of 40 years of age and Jose Antonio N alias ‘El Conejo’.
The Attack
In October, the suspects ‘El Conejo’ and ‘El Paco’ broke into a home in San Luis Rio Colorado. Threatening Martha and Efrain with a knife, they stole over 22,300 dollars that the couple obtained from the sale of land property.
Still, one of the perpetrators allegedly stabbed Martha’s abdomen repeatedly and beat her leaving her for dead.
The other perpetrator allegedly beat Efrain and stabbed several times. Before leaving both of the victims dead, the thieves stole several belongings.
Local authorities found Martha alive, but her husband died on the scene. She was transferred to a hospital in Yuma, Arizona to receive medical attention. She remained hospitalized for two months, and once recovered she provided here testimony.
Afterword
In March, Jose Antonio N, alias ‘El Conejo’, is found serving a sentence for a separate unrelated robbery in prison in the city of Obregon. The thief had been captured on March 25, 2019, for robbing a house in Cajeme. Martha sees the perpetrator on TV and calls in authorities to denounce him.
According to police reports, an arrest warrant is executed in June against ‘El Paco’ and he is found in Mexicali, Baja California.
The official crimes are attempted femicide, aggravated robbery with violence, to the detriment of Martha N, and qualified homicide, with premeditation, treachery, and advantage, to the detriment of Efrain N.
With Martha’s testimony, collected evidence and scientific data, the State Attorney’s office established the identity of the aggressors.
