Woman Found Dead South of Nogales
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – The body of a 19-year-old girl was found inside a house located on the property known as El Paraiso, in South Nogales.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old Rosa Angelica Bojorquez Garcia, who was allegedly murdered inside one of the houses located in that area.
The discovery happened Monday at 11:09 a.m. when the officers were alerted that in that area, a house emitted foul odors, presumably caused by a dead person.
The guard took them to the place known as Rancho Contento, where he pointed out the house they were reporting, where several people were also waiting for the authorities.
A woman stated that she had come to that house where her niece lives, she had not heard from her in some time and decided to pay her a visit.
She said that the last time she saw her was on Saturday and that she was accompanied by her boyfriend, 27-year-old Juan N.
The officers proceeded to inspect the exterior of the home, noticing bloodstains on the floor and steps. They secured the area and reported it to the investigating authorities.
The agents entered the property and located the body of the young woman inside.
Authorities are investigating the possible femicide.
