Woman Arrested for Inciting Looting

CAJEME, SONORA, MX – A woman was captured in Cajeme, Sonora for charges of sedition and inciting the population through social networks to raid businesses.

Staff of the Attorney General of Justice of the State of Sonora (FGJE) compiled the investigation, which led to criminal case 301/2020, against Dora Luz “N.” for the crimes indicated to the detriment of State security and public security.

The publication was made in the “Tianguis Cajeme” facebook group, detected by cybersecurity authorities, of the State Attorney, where they “invited” to use “shovels, machetes and hammers, any kind of iron to enter and demonstrate that they are more powerful they than the authorities“.

The planning of a series of lootings was announced, derived from and taking advantage of the health emergency by Covid-19, promoting a cybercrime, taking advantage of social networks and technological equipment in order to incite or invite the initiation of a criminal act or promote illegal activities.

Elements of the Ministerial Agency for Criminal Investigation (AMIC) complied with the arrest warrant, requested by the State Attorney after the investigations.
