Up to Five Hours of Wait Time To Enter The USA

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Three hours in Nogales and five in San Luis, was the border crossings wait times into the United States this Monday.

The documented wait time was the longest since the Coronavirus 2019 pandemic began.

In Nogales, the upward trend in wait time to the US began during Sunday afternoon.

Hundreds of motorists were waiting in line at Avenida Plutarco Elías Calles towards the Dennis DeConcini Port.

This Monday at noon, the documented wait time at border wait times was 180 minutes of wait time for this same border port.

The port of entry was operating with a Ready lane, a Standard lane and one Sentri lane.

The same conditions were occurring at Mariposa International Port of entry.

The vast majority of the motorists lined up have Arizona license plates.

Other Borders

At the Agua Prieta-Douglas border the estimated crossing time at noon was 45 minutes; Sonoyta-Lukeville did not document crossings; but in the case of San Luis, Arizona, the wait was five hours and it operated with a single international crossing line.
