Up to 5 Hour Wait Time from Mexico Into USA Through Arizona
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – On Tuesday, it took up to three hours for motorists to cross into the United States through Nogales ports of entry, but, in San Luis the wait time was up to five hours.
Both the Mariposa and Dennis DeConcini ports in Nogales were operating with three lanes each, with lengths between 300 and 500 meters.
According to CBP, the border crossing time averaged at 180 minutes for both ports of entry in Nogales.
In San Luis, travelers that wanted to cross into the United States had to wait 300 minutes, about five hours. The port of entry was operating with three lanes: standard, ready, and one Sentri lane.
In Douglas the wait time was about 45 minutes, while in Naco and Lukeville it was about 10 minutes.
