Two New Covid-19 Cases in Santa Cruz County
NOGALES, ARIZONA, US – Two new Covid-19 cases were identified over the weekend in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. The volume of cases reached ten.
The Arizona Department of Public Health Services database shows that the region with zip code 85621, which borders Sonora, remains at the second lowest level regarding detected cases. The first level is zero and second level is for locations with one to five cases.
The same conditions apply to those who reside in the 85648 ZIP code area, at the North of the county.
Local authorities also confirmed that no shortage of hospital beds or ventilators has been observed so far in the county or in Arizona.
Warning for Traveling to Sonora
In a statement, the City of Nogales reminds the community that beginning April 13 those who travel to the mexican state of Sonora could be subject to receive fines or sanctions due to a provision by the Sonora state government to compel the community to stay home if your travel reason is not essential.
Among the aspects that the mexican government consider essential are: shopping for groceries, medicine and/or basic needs and going to health centers, hospitals or establishments with essential activity.
