Tucson Woman Found Dead

TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – A young mother of three children was found dead in a home located on North Oracle Road.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the victim was identified as 28-year-old Monique Leon.

The report was received at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday when officers from the Western Operations Division and members of the Tucson Fire Department dispatched to a department located at 2650 North Oracle Road.

Upon arrival, officers entered the department and located an adult woman with obvious signs of trauma. Shortly after arrival, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three of the victim’s young children were inside the residence when she was found. The children had no injuries.

Available details are limited at this time but detectives from the Tucson Police Homicide Unit will continue with the investigation.

Detectives learned that Miss Leon’s boyfriend was the one who called 911 after returning home from work.

Detectives have spoken to the victim’s boyfriend and several of the nearby residents.

There were no signs of forced entry to the residence and no arrests have been made at this time.
