Tucson Public Parks and Recreation Facilities Will Remain Temporarily Closed

TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – Tucson public parks and recreation facilities will remain temporarily closed, including recreation centers, pools, and splash pads. The Mayor and Council will work with the City Manager and departmental leadership to complete a phased city-wide reopening plan.

The plan will be developed with the main goal of protecting public health and compliance with the associated published guidance from the Pima County Health Department, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and the CDC.

All aquatic, leisure class, and summer 2020 programs, including KIDCO, have been temporarily postponed to ensure the safety of participants and staff is developed.
