Tucson Firefighters Control Fire in Abandoned House

TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – Tucson Fire Department personnel put out the flames of a fire in an abandoned house located on W. 36th Street.

Firefighters activated 12 units and 27 elements, who after 62 minutes, managed to control this fire. No injuries were sustained by firefighters or civilians.

According to information from the Fire Department, it was at 5:05 p.m. when the call was received, arriving five minutes later on the scene.

Machine 10 team was the first to arrive on the scene and observed heavy smoke and flames coming out of the windows and door frames.

Firefighters quickly pulled several hoses to start the fire attack on the property, which had already caught fire in the morning in a shed outside.

The heavy wood construction of the building created heavy smoke as it burned. The fire was extinguished at 6:07 p.m.
