Terror for Caborca Residents, Again
CABORCA, SONORA, MX – On Tuesday, the residents of Caborca rose to two people killed, a tire shop on fire, and three houses shot.
Violence does not stop in this area of Sonora, which for months has been a battlefield for criminal groups linked to drug trafficking.
The killings happened during the early hours of this day in the small town of Y Griega, in the Municipality of Caborca , and in a house located on Calle 6 de Abril.
Also in the Y Griega town local media reported that several homes were damaged with firearm impacts in the Lizárraga and Cerro Prieto neighborhood.
The second homicide in the morning happenned in the 6 de Abril neighborhood.
More killings
On Monday, there were two additional murders in Caborca, the first of them around 10:00 a.m. at the entrance of Ley supermarket.
The second murder happened in the upper area of Cerro Prieto, which according to the first investigations, the victim was identified as an “halcón” (observer) working for criminal groups.
