Sixteen New Covid-19 Deaths
TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – A total of 16 deaths related to Covid-19 and 446 new infections in Arizona as of Thursday.
The accumulated cases amount to 7,648 and death toll to 320, according to the Arizona Department of Public Health and Social Services.
Pima County, where the city of Tucson is located, already reached 80 deaths, while Maricopa reached 145. Six out of ten fatal victims of the Coronavirus are men.
Of the 320 deaths, 76% (244) were people 65 years of age or older, while 14% were between 55 and 64 years old. 6% from 45 to 54 years old, 3% from 20 to 44 years old.”
There are 33 cases of infection in Santa Cruz County and 39 cases in Cochise. There are 1,241 in Pima County and 3,972 in Maricopa. The other cases of infection are in the remaining eleven counties. To date, 71,786 tests have been applied.
