Six out of Ten Arizonans Favor Legalizing Marijuana

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Four years after voting against the legalization of marijuana, a telephone poll finds that now 6 out of every 10 residents in Arizona support the legalization of the opioid.

According to an opinion poll by OH Predictive Insights, in the study of 600 possible voters, approval is likely, given that only 32% are against it.

Four years ago the recreational use of marijuana was almost legalized in Arizona. Today cannabis is again on the verge of being legally approved for recreational use, said the OH Predictive Insights firm.

According to the poll, 62% of respondents support legalizing marijuana for recreational use. In December of 2019 it was at 51%.

Six hundred people were surveyed via telephone between July 6 and 7 of this year with a margin of error of 4%.

Four years ago, marijuana legalization nearly came to fruition,” says Mike Noble, Chief of Research at OH Predictive Insights. “And less than four months before Election Day, Arizona is on the cusp of allowing the adults to use recreational pot.
