Shot While Drinking on The Street

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Manuel N of 28 years of age and the small town of Santa Cruz, at East Nogales, was shot when he was drinking beers in Abasolo street.

The case was reported to the 911 emergency phone line Sunday at 10:13 am as medical workers requested support from local police officers at the Medical Center.

Onsite, police officers met Manuel N, who reported that approximately 03:00 am he was on Manuel Abasolo street inside his vehicle when a black wagon arrived and two men in black clothes got out.

They asked him what he was doing, he replied that he was drinking and then got out of his vehicle.

At that moment, he heard a loud noise and felt pain in his right foot. He then drove to the hospital in Nogales, where he was treated for the injury in his right foot, which was caused by those unidentified men.

At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a firearm projectile wound on the right foot with an entrance and exit holes.
