Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Kidnapping a Minor

GUAYMAS, SONORA, MX – Isela Guillermina was sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison for kidnapping a child.

According to a statement by the State Attorney General’s Office in Sonora (FGJE), the accused was captured on September 28. She was traveling with a 5-year-old minor whom she had kidnapped the day before.

Claudia N, the child’s mother, stated that her daughter was taken without her authorization by a woman known as “La Pelo Chino”, while the minor was with her grandmother in a residence in neighborhood 13 de Julio.

The state investigators conducted routine tests on the minor, including psychological, gynecological, and toxicological. They also inspected the home where the kidnap happened, as well as the location where they found the child.

Tests show that the girl did not suffer any type of physical damage, but she did suffer psychological stress.
