Security Guard Fatally Wounded in ATM Robbery

CABORCA, SONORA, MX – Armed men killed a Coca Cola Company security guard last night during the robbery of an ATM in Caborca, Sonora.

The victim identified as 35-year-old Juan Alfonso N lost his life in the hospital.

The assault occurred minutes after Wednesday midnight when armed men arrived at the company facility located in Industrial Park.

Juan Alonso was shot while the criminals stole the ATM. The victim was found at the scene of the crime with a gunshot wound in the head.

He was treated by first responders from the Mexican Red Cross and transferred to the Social Security hospital, where he died moments later.
