Santa Ana’s Gas Prices Among the Highest Nation-Wide

SANTA ANA, SONORA, MX – Over the course of last week, Santa Ana, Sonora was listed among the cities offering the highest gas prices in Mexico.

At a cost of 20.60 pesos per liter, a Chevron gas station was offering the highest price in the country, according to the Profeco app “Litro por Litro”.

While presenting at the daily morning conference of the Presidency of Mexico, Ricardo Sheffield Padilla, chief of the Mexican Federal Consumer Protection Prosecutor (Profeco) enlisted the cities holding the current lowest and highest gasoline prices.

This is the second time that Santa Ana city stands out nationwide for expensive fuel prices. Last week Santa Ana city held the second-highest price in the country.
