Rio Rico Residents Caught With Millionaire Shipment of Narcotics

RIO RICO, ARIZONA, US – Border Patrol agents catch two 18-year-old residents of Rio Rico in possession of a millionaire shipment of cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin.

The incident occurred when immigration officers were patrolling the outskirts of Nogales, where they surprised several people emerging from the bushes and loading packages into a red truck Chevrolet Silverado parked near Pena Blanca Lake.

Some of the people carrying the packages left, while two drove away in the car.

A few minutes later, the agents stopped the car, where they found 57 packets of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin hidden in the car.

The weight was not disclosed but the value of the narcotics is estimated at $1.88 million.
