Rigorous Measures to Reinforce Covid19 Prevention
HERMOSILLO, SONORA, MX. Early Saturday, the Sonora State Health Council approved eight rigorous measures to reinforce prevention of the spread of Coronavirus 2019.
The actions include assigning specific days for grocery shopping and payment of city services, sanctions for those who arrive to Sonora and do not keep a fourteen day quarantine and the cancellation of construction work, among others.
Below is the list of sanctions approved this Saturday by the authorities with the intention of preventing the spread of Coronavirus in the state of Sonora.
- Apply legal order and sanctions to those individuals that do not stay in quarantine and isolation for 14 days.
- Penalties for people who enter Sonora and do not remain in quarantine for fourteen days.
- Immediate ban of all outdoor recreational activities.
- Closure of parks, main squares, tourist sites and alike locations.
- Cancellation of construction labor (except hospitals, roads and essential infrastructure).
- Prohibition of the sale of food in tourist sites or places where large numbers of people concentrate.
- Complete closure of non-essential business and industry.
- Schedule grocery shopping and payment of services to a specific day, similar to the program “No Driving Day”.
