Police Operations to Enforce Stay Home During Easter
The Border Reports – NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO
Agents of the General Police Station of Public Security carry out coordinated operations with other authorities in order to inhibit the presence of people in recreational places during Easter.
They also ask to comply with preventive measures against Covid-19.
Alberto López Rodríguez, Commissioner of Public Security, announced the completion of a series of police filters in order to invite people to withdraw from public locations.
The measure will continue for as long as the state, federal and municipal health authorities establish.
The main police filters are at the entrance and exit of the recreational locations to ensure people do not enter.
“Coordinated operational actions are being innovated and strengthened so that people take this public health problem very seriously and that they remain in their homes responsibly, as this is the only way to avoid the risk of infection,” he added.
The police commander warned that if they intend to go to some place of recreation, they will be returned to their homes, since these days are not to vacation but to comply with health recommendations.
