PESP Finds Abandoned Rifles and Military Accessories

NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO – Public Safety State Police officers and elements of the Mexican Army found a rifle and a grenade launcher attachment in the south area of the city.

According to police reports, the discovery was made when they were patrolling on the road to the town of Saric in front of the El Bellotoso ranch.

In addition to finding a rifle, they located a telescopic sight attachment, a .40 mm grenade launcher attachment, a 5.56 caliber black magazine, and 4 rounds.
