One Man Beaten to Death and One Seriously Injured, No Complaints Filed

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – A man was beaten to death and one more was seriously injured, but when interviewed by the local authorities he refused to initiate legal proceedings or talk about the attacker.

Cecilio N, the injured victim, told the authorities that the deceased was identified as Jesus N, aka “El Chilakas”.

According to police reports, the case occurred Thursday at 3:56 am, when the Police were dispatched to Mision San Jorge Street, in the Mision de Anza neighborhood, where witnesses reported two people injured.

Police officers located the wounded men and requested the presence of the Mexican Red Cross paramedics, who confirmed that one man was already dead and the second one was still alive, so he was transferred to the General Hospital.

The deceased was completely naked, while Cecilio only wore pants and no shoes.

In the Police report it is indicated that the injured victim preferred not to file any complaint against those responsible.
