Nogales Mourns the Death of a Two Day Old Baby
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – A two-day-old baby lost his life in a possible bronchial aspiration or heart attack, according to initial investigations.
The tragic case occurred on Sunday afternoon when personnel from the Mexican Red Cross requested the presence of the Municipal Police at the Red Cross facility.
The baby’s parents reported that the baby fell asleep, and shortly after when they checked him, they saw that liquid was coming out of his nose, they trieid to waake him up but he did not respond.
The couple transferred the infant to the Mexican Red Cross in search of help, but paramedics reported that the baby no longer had vital signs.
State authorities were present to attest to the death and transfer of the body for the corresponding autopsy.
