Nogales Covid Cases Ramp Up After a Recent Decline
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – After a drop in Covid-19 cases in Nogales, in recent days a bounce back is documented, said the director of the General Hospital.

Juan Antonio Lopez explains that the alert level of cases due to Covid-19 should remain in Red and not moved to Orange. There are still too many patients affected by the pandemic.
He explained that after a significant drop in Coronavirus patients at the General Hospital, to this day they have 50 patients hospitalized.
“We had a drop in hospitalizations, but they are going up again, and the problem is that we also have patients who are not Covid; we have to pay attention to normal patients, Covid patients fell a little, but now Covid is going up again,” he lamented.
The doctor said that the medical personnel of the General Hospital is fully staffed and working 100%, so he calls upon the community to follow preventive measures such as social distancing, hand hygiene and the proper use of facemasks.
