Newborn Body Found in Garbage Dump in Nogales

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Local authorities rescued the body of a newborn from a dog. The body was in a garbage container in a neighborhood at East Nogales.

Local authorities received the report on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. when witnesses called into the emergency line 911.

The agents went to San Antonio street, in the Mision de Anza neighborhood, where residents found the body of a newborn.

Local residents reported to the authorities that moments before they saw a dog take out a garbage bag and take it to a home.

When the witnesses looked inside the bag they saw that it was a baby.

Police cordoned off the area and requested the presence of state investigators, who gathered evidence to later requested the removal of the body.

To date, there is no further information on this case.
