Nearly 700 Individual Doses of Narcotics Found

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – A total of 656 doses of several narcotics, were seized by National Guard members during preventive patrolling in the Bellotas neighborhood.

The case occurred at 12:30 pm on Monday, when the officers were patrolling the area and observed an individual who, upon noticing the presence of the officers, assumed an evasive and suspicious attitude.

The suspect escaped.

The guards returned to the area where they saw the suspect and found a backpack containing nearly 700 portions of various types of drugs.

There were 19 packages containing crack, 269 doses of marijuana, 103 of crystal meth and 265 of cocaine, for a total of 656 individual doses.

The drugs were turned in to the personnel of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) for the corresponding investigations.
