Nearly 2,000 Hospitalizations in Arizona for COVID-19
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – A total of 1,961 hospitalizations have been documented in Arizona due to Covid-19.
According to the Department of Health and Social Services, 6 deaths and 222 new cases of Coronavirus were confirmed this Monday.
The accumulated number of infections amounted to 16,561, while the volume of deaths grew to 806 in the state.
A total of 268,384 tests for Covid-19 have been applied and 5.6% of them have tested positive.
The mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 11.21 and the case rate per 100,000 inhabitants reached 230.4.
In Maricopa County, the data indicates 1,088 hospitalizations out of 8,379 people who have become infected.
In Santa Cruz 186 infections in total and 3 hospitalizations; in Pima, there were 2 thousand 46 infections and 393 hospitalizations; and in Cochise, 59 cases with nine hospitalizations.
