Nearly 10,000 Bullets Seized by Customs Authority in Nogales Port of Entry

NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO – On Tuesday night, almost 10,000 bullets were confiscated by Mexican customs authorities and by National Guard officers at the border port of Garita Puerta de Mexico.

According to the official report, officers secured 9,334 ammunition of 7.62 x .39 mm in addition to 31 chargers supplied with 928 .223 caliber cartridges and six more chargers.

In total they added 9,962 insured cartridges, local authorities reported.
