Narco-Message Found with Two Bodies

CABORCA, SONORA, MX – Two people were killed, their bodies wrapped in gray duct tape, and then abandoned in the interior of a small car parked outside of a cemetery.

The identity of the victims is unknown, but a piece of cardboard with a message was found at the scene. The message is between rival organized criminal groups in the area.

The discovery was made around 3:00 pm when authorities were informed that outside the Caborca ​​Municipal Cemetery, inside a compact car, were bundles wrapped with tape that gave off a putrid odor.

Police officers were dispatched to the location between Calle 10 and Callejon A, in the Centro neighborhood. They located the reported Nissan, March 2018 model, with national plates VYN997A.

Inside, wrapped in gray duct tape, were the bodies of two people. One in the back seat and the second in the trunk.

They also located a card that contained a message from rival criminal groups.

Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) arrived at the scene to collect evidence and to order the removal of the bodies.
