Murderer Sentenced to 34 Years in Prison

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Saul N was sentenced to 34 years of term in prison for an assault and homicide that happened this week at East Nogales. In addition to more than three decades in prison, he will also need to pay a fine of 26,064 mexican pesos for the crime of premeditated homicide

According to official reports, the murderer was captured between Carricitos and Ignacio Zaragoza streets, in the Altamira neighborhood.

His capture was made moments after police officers received a report of an armed assault where one person was killed and another was seriously injured in the street 5 de Mayo.

Saul N, was captured by local authorities in a location close to the scene of the crime. He was carrying two firearms, a .38 caliber and a .40 caliber as well as doses of illegal narcotics. When he was arrested, Saul N admitted his participation in the crime, saying that due to personal problems, he had made plans with his friend Zechariah Paul “N” alias “El Gringo” or “El Güero Six” to kill the victim José Manuel “N”.

On April 17, arrest warrants were issued against both participants in the criminal acts.

After the investigation was completed, authorities linked Saul N to the armed aggression, and days later he was convicted to 34 years in prison by a judge.

Investigations on the whereabouts of Zechariah Paul N who is a citizen of the United States, found that he crossed the border into the United States and had been detained for having a previous arrest warrant for crimes committed in that country.
