Multiple Drug Seizures In The Last Days
NOGALES, ARIZONA, USA – The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported various drug seizures in the last few days in Nogales and San Luis, as well as other borders between Arizona and Sonora.
According to CBP reports, 10 pounds of fentanyl and 11 pounds of methamphetamine were confiscated in Nogales. The confiscations occurred on different occasions, resulting in the arrest of five people.
The narcotics were hidden in vehicle compartments and on various body transporters, with an estimated value of 124,000.
In Nogales, CPB seized three pounds of fentanyl, one pound of heroin, and 172 pounds of methamphetamines. The narcotics were hidden in tile-covered boxes as well as on the spare tire.
At the ports of Douglas and Naco, they seized 58 pounds of marijuana hidden in the trunk, roof, and panel rooms of a vehicle.
An additional 23 pounds of cocaine was also seized after it was located in the trunk of another vehicle.
Finally, in San Luis they seized 5 pounds of methamphetamine pills and one pound of fentanyl pills that four pedestrians had hidden in their clothes and bodies.
30 pounds of methamphetamine were also seized in a sedan.
