Minor Arrested Driving a Stolen Vehicle
MAGDALENA, SONORA, MX – A 17 year old juvenile was arrested on the road from Magdalena to Cucurpe, Sonora, when he was driving a car that had been reported stolen in Arizona.
The incident occurred when state officers stopped the driver of a Nissan, Titan pickup, when he was traveling to Cucurpe. The driver was a minor of 17 years of age.
The juvenile couldn’t verify the legal possession of the vehicle, and when the officers ran the serial number, they were informed that the car was reported stolen in Arizona on August 26 of 2019.
The agents secured the car and the juvenil were arrested for investigation.
