Marijuana Plantation and Drug Lab Found

MAGDALENA, SONORA, MX – A marijuana plantation and a crystal meth lab was found by the National Guard and the Mexican Army.

The finding occurred near Rancho El Pinto, located in Cucurpe, a small town near to Magdalena.

The site was found during a standard patrol by the National Guard and the Mexican Army.

The military found marijuana plants with a height of two meters in a 1,200-square-meter property, whose crops were destroyed and incinerated.

At the site, they also found containers and instruments commonly used to manufacture the synthetic drug known as crystal meth. All containers were empty.

The material was made available to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
