Marijuana Found Abandoned in Bushes

SONOYTA, SONORA, MX – Among a vacant lot with bushes in an area of the Papagos neighborhood, state authorities located 90 kilos of marijuana.

The discovery was made last weekend as agents of the Public Safety State Police (PESP) in coordination with the Mexican Army patrolled on the Octava Norte street.

Upon inspecting the area, they realized there were ten rectangular bundles wrapped in duct tape.

The police found that the packages were filled with marijuana, a total of 198 pounds.

The narcotics were delivered to the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) to continue with the corresponding legal procedures.
