#Lady Come Gratis goes viral in Mexico
DURANGO.- As #LadyComeGratis, has been nicknamed and gone viral on Twitter a Mexican woman who refused to pay a bill after eating with 17 people in a restaurant claiming that the food was undercooked.
The bill was 2,800 pesos (140 dollars), which the waitress will have to pay due to the refusal of the abusive client.
On Twitter, people baptized the woman as #LadyComeGratis (FreeEaterLady) and the video recorded of the incident by another diner has gone viral in Mexico.
The episode happened at Restaurante Aguachiles in the City of Gómez Palacio, Durango.
The title of Lady is given in Mexico to people who are the protagonists of a scandal, either because of their abusive, class-oriented behavior or because their behavior generates social rejection of Internet users.
The waitress asked the woman to pay the bill or she would be charged in her salary.
But, the attempts did not cause the abusive client to change her mind and pay the debt.
