Illicit Marijuana Farm is Incinerated
IMURIS, SONORA, MX – The marijuana farm seized earlier this week in Imuris by military personnel, was destroyed and incinerated, thus preventing any plants from being harvested.
According to official information from the National Defense Secretary (Sedena), the plantation had an extension of 501,382 square feet (46,580 square meters) and was located inside the Municipality of Imuris, Sonora.
The marijuana farm was discovered over the weekend, along with three greenhouses, as part of the military operations in the region.
The members who carried out the work of destroying the farm are members of the 45th Military Zone based in Nogales.
