Illegal Drugs Seized in SLRC

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, SONORA, MX – Fentanyl, marijuana, and methamphetamine, were drugs that Sonora authorities seized in a rural area near San Luis Rio Colorado.

According to the Mexican Army, they found 29.5 pound of fentanyl, 3 of marijuana, 398 of methamphetamine.

The incident occurred last Sunday when the military were patrolling the rural areas of this city and they found an abandoned car.

While inspecting the abandoned car they found the drug shipment. The narcotics were turned in to federal authorities for the future investigation process.
