Homeless Man Dies in a Hit and Run Incident in Nogales

NOGALES.– A homeless man dies in a hit and run incident in Prolongacion Obregon Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased has not been officially established.

Hit and run death in Nogales

The accident occurred at 6:18 p.m. under the Caribbean bridge, where an injured person was found.

At the scene, they located a male person lying on the ground, who was wearing navy blue pants, a gray shirt, and black shoes.

Paramedics were unable to save the life

The officers requested the presence of paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross, who provided first aid to the wounded man but were unable to save his life.

A motorist reported that moments before he was driving through the area and suddenly all vehicles started slowing down.

Police investigates the traffic incident

He reported that the vehicle in front bumped up and down but continued on its way.

The witness stopped his car and saw that there was a badly injured person on the ground.

The witness reported that he did not remember the characteristics of the vehicle in front of him, so he does not know who was responsible.

Homeless man remain unidentified

The person unfortunately passed away, and remains unidentified, he did not carry any documentation with him.
