Father Larios is in Delicate Health Condition Due To Covid-19
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Amando Larios Andrade of 91 years of age, and who was ordained as a catholic priest 57 years ago, has been in a delicate health condition after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
Born on June 4, 1930, the priest was honored with the keys to the city of Nogales as a tribute for his work within the Catholic Church on behalf of the community.
On Friday he was admitted to the General Hospital, where he is recovering from the virus.
The Diocese of Nogales confirmed that he had initially been hospitalized in the Hospital del Socorro, but since it was not a Covid-19 certified hospital, they decided to act quickly and transfer him to the Hospital General seeking more adequate medical attention.
The Health Service Section for Priests has assisted at each stage of the process and the vicar general Jesus Cristobal Valenzuela Olaje was entrusted to be in contact with health authorities to constantly know the progress of the Nogales priest.
