Facemasks Required
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – With the hashtag #MaskUpAZ, authorities from the state of Arizona are promoting the use of facemasks when in public spaces due to the high volume of infections that faces in the state.
The protection measure is being promoted by mayors such as Regina Romero in Tucson; Arturo Garino in Nogales and the Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey.
In less than 72 hours, just among the figures revealed between Monday and Wednesday, there were 5,333 cases of people infected with Coronavirus.
To date, the day with the most people infected that was confirmed in Arizona since the start of the pandemic was last Tuesday with 2,392 cases. Today, 1,827 new cases were confirmed.
