Excessive Heat Warning This Weekend

TUCSON, ARIZONA, US – An excessive heat alert was launched in the South area of Arizona with expected temperatures of up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

The National Weather Service (NWS) foresees that the most severe weather conditions near the Southern border will be experienced between Thursday and Sunday. During those days, the temperature could exceed 115 Fahrenheit degrees.

In Tucson, afternoons will be the riskiest.

The alert also applies to West Pima County, the Tohono O’odham Reservation, and the upper part of the Santa Cruz River. As well as the Altar Valley, and a large portion of Pinal County.
