Drunk Driver Kills Family of Four

OBREGON, SONORA, MX – Juan Carlos N, was arrested and accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing the death of four people.

The Sonora State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) reported that they presented to the judge evidence against the suspect.

The accused was charged with the crime of aggravated reckless driving and causing the death of four victims, to the detriment of a family from Pueblo Yaqui, in Cajeme. The victims were identified as 41-year-old Gregorio N, Luz Elena N, and two minors of 7 and 5 years of age.

It was around 8:00 p.m. on May 24, when the accident occurred on Street 900 between the streets of Bambu and Canal Bajo, in Valle del Yaqui, the victims were traveling on a motorcycle.

In the Homologated Police Report (IPH), carried out by Cajeme’s Local Public Safety agents, it was established that the accused was driving a white Isuzu truck when he collided the motorcycle.

All occupants of the motorcycle died. Local Police officers arrested Juan Carlos “N.” at the scene.
