Drugs Found Inside Wheelchair
NOGALES, ARIZONA, USA – A 56-year-old U.S. citizen was detained by CBP officers while trying to cross the border into the USA with a shipment of eight pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside the seat of his wheelchair.
CBP confirmed on social media that the seize happened in one of the Nogales’ border crossing ports and was first detected by a K9 team.
Other Seizures
During the week in unrelated incidents, multiple seizures of fentanyl were made. Most of them in small packages that people put into cavities inside their bodies. Four suspected smugglers were arrested.
