Drug Shipment Found Inside Mini Split
NOGALES, ARIZONA, US – US Customs officers at the Nogales port of entry intercepted a large shipment of drugs inside an air conditioning unit.
Laboratory narcotics were hidden inside the engine of a mini split, confirmed the Department of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
In a total, US Customs officers in one of the Nogales Ports of Entry extracted 31 pounds of fentanyl, 12 pounds of brown heroin, and 3 pounds of methamphetamines.
They found a total of 59 packages containing the drugs inside this module. Authorities did not provide further details if there were arrests in this case.
