Driver Caught Transporting Weapons

SONOYTA, SONORA, MX – The driver of a passenger bus was caught in San Emeterio Customs Checkpoint, in Sonoyta, accused of the transporting two rifles.

The detained was identified as Gabriel N, according to a press release of the Federal Attorney’s Office.

The seizure happened when agents of the Federal Ministerial Police inspected the bus driven by the suspect.

They found two rifles of caliber 7.62x.39 with the respective magazines.

The suspect was transferred to jail and is being investigated for the crime of transportation of weapons of exclusive use by the Army Forces.
