Donation of Sanitizing Equipment by Rotary Club and Nogales Business Council
NOGALES, SONORA, MX – The Nogales Business Council, in cooperation with the Rotary Club Nogales AC, made a significant donation of equipment and sanitization material to police force, community brigades, medical and educational institutions.
The donation was distributed to the authorities and organizations that face daily risks due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hipolito Sedano Ruiz, president of the Rotary Club Nogales AC, announced that 10,000 pairs of gloves, 50 protective suits, and 250 protective gowns were donated.
In addition to the symbolic delivery, more than 10,000 liters of chlorinated solution were included, of which 5,000 liters will be used to disinfect urban trucks.
The material will also be distributed to first responders such as Halcones Dorados, the National Commission of Emergencies, and Nogales Medical Emergency Services, among others.
The local universities ITN, Universidad Tecnologica, and Unison, will also receive 1,000 liters of the chlorinated solution to disinfect their classrooms and protect students once they return to class.
The Firefighters Department, Mexican Red Cross, Social Security hospital, Issste, and General Hospital, will receive sanitizing material and pumps to ease the task of disinfection.
The local Police Department will also be among the beneficiaries.
